How do I log a take quickly?

Open a shot and tap NG, GOOD or CIRCLE. Then tap Next Take. Turn on Auto Advance in Settings and one tap records the result and prepares the next take, with a short Undo. Fast Take Mode shows only Scene, Shot, Take and Status.

What is Wrap Check?

At the end of a shoot day, open the day and tap Wrap Check. It lists shots that are not shot or still in progress (Critical), flagged for a check or with no usable take (Warning), and smaller notes (Info). Tap an item to jump to that shot, fix it, then run the check again until it says Ready to wrap.

How do I back up and restore?

Open Settings → Data Management → Backup All Productions. To restore, choose Restore From Backup and pick the file. A preview shows what it contains before anything changes. If a production already exists you can Import As Copy or Replace Existing.

How do I make a report for the editor?

Open Reports from the production, choose a report (Take, Selects, Shoot Day, Camera, Coverage, Wrap or Custom), then Generate PDF. Editor Handoff bundles several reports into one ZIP. Choose A4 or US Letter in Settings → Reports.

Can I log several cameras?

Yes. Add cameras (CAM A, B, C) and lenses to the production. Each take can hold a record per camera with its own clip number, lens, settings, notes and usability, so one camera can be unusable while the take is still GOOD or CIRCLE.

Does True-Take work offline?

Yes. True-Take needs no account and no internet connection. The only network request is an optional check for bug-fix updates.

Which permissions does it need?

None. True-Take does not use the camera, microphone, photos, location or contacts.

Why have my productions disappeared?

Productions are stored on the device, so they are removed if the app is deleted. Back up regularly. If the app reports that saved data could not be read, it keeps a copy of the unreadable data and does not erase anything. Contact us and we will help.
